The main focus is to set up a Teacher's Training College with a motto to provide a path to the educated youth for grasping Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degrees to enrich their proficiency and competency to get associated with the teaching profession. Today, in a well-educated society, these Teacher's training degrees have been regarded as an indispensable requirement for becoming a teacher in a Primary or Secondary or Higher Secondary School. It is just 6 k.m. away from Dum Dum international Airport and this college is also well connected by both Roads and Railways, thus providing hassle-free transport for the trainees.

At present this college is havingaffiliation of 50 Seats in B.Ed. and 50 Seats in D.El.Ed. (Bengali&EnglishMedium)
The future plan of the College is to increase the intake capacity and introduce M.Ed. course.
